A few days ago I saw this picture on the Internet, and then searched the news.
Many of us know that we give our body as a host for many chemical products each day. However, we realize just what that means.
So when I saw this picture I wanted to share with the community yogaesmas to put a bit to take care of your temple.
Remember this wise adage:
“The body is your temple. Keep it neat and clean so that your soul resides in it “
I do not know much more chemistry than what they taught me in school, but it is enough to analyze and research a little, to know the damage we do to ourselves with all the chemicals we use every day.
At the end of the article I leave some links to other articles that talk about this topic, if you want to deepen further.

In the news where I drew the original image, commented:
“(…) most of our favorite cosmetics are cocktails of chemicals produced industrially and potentially dangerous that can harm our health and, in some cases, rather than the promise of its powerful” anti-aging “are causing us to age faster.
Research by Bionsen a natural deodorant company, found that daily cleaning of the average woman and makeup routine means she is host to a staggering 515 different synthetic chemicals in your body every day.
Many of these are also used in products such as household cleaners, and have been linked with a number of health problems ranging from allergies and skin sensitivity to more serious hormonal disturbances, fertility problems and even cancer .
Parabens, for example, which are designed to preserve the life of cosmetics, are one of the most used worldwide preservatives, and are found in shampoos, hair gels, gels for shaving and body lotions. However, its use is increasingly controversial – a range of different studies has been linked to serious health problems such as breast cancer and fertility problems in men. “
Here I leave other links which you may find useful to learn more about this issue that we should all be aware:

If you have some other link to us more light on this issue of chemicals in our daily use, leave it in the comments please.
The solution I propose: Be more aware of everything that comes to your body by any means (food, products we use, etc), and seek better alternatives, because really there.
