What are some Osho meditation techniques?

PASSIVE TECHNIQUES

Two passive techniques
Are you in a situation where you can not use active techniques? Here are two simple but effective passive methods. Remember in any case that you will find many more techniques in: “Meditation of the Week” and “Meditation for Busy People”, and that have a periodic rotation.
1. Observe breathing
This method of observing breathing can be done anywhere, at any time, even if you only have a few minutes. You can simply observe the expansion and contraction of your chest or belly, as the breath comes in or out, or you can try this system.
First step: Observe the inhalation.
Close your eyes and start watching your breathing. It starts with the inhalation, since it enters your nose until it goes down to the lungs.
Second step: Observe the gap that follows.
At the end of the inhalation there is a gap, before the exhalation begins. It has immense value. Observe that gap.
Third step: Observe the exhalation.
Now watch the exhalation.
Fourth step: Observe the gap that follows.
At the end of the exhalation there is a second gap: observe that gap. Follow these four phases for two or three times. Simply observe the cycle of breathing, without changing it at all; simply observe the natural rhythm.
Fifth step: Count the inhalations.
Now start counting: Inhalation, count one (do not count the exhalation). Inhalation: two, and so on until you reach ten. Then count backwards, from ten to one. You may sometimes forget to watch your breathing or count above ten. It starts then again from one.
“These two things have to be remembered: observation and especially the gaps between cycles. The experience of the breach is yourself, the deepest, your being. Secondly, go counting, but without going over ten and returning again to one. Only inhalation counts.
These things help the conscience. You have to be conscious, or you will not start counting the exhalations or you will go over ten.
If you enjoy this meditation, continue with it. It is of immense value. “Osho

OSHO DYNAMIC MEDITATION

This meditation is an intense, fast and penetrating way to break with old, ingrained habits in the body-mind, which keep one imprisoned in the past, and to experience the freedom, contemplation, silence and peace that are hidden behind the walls of this prison.

Meditation would have to be done early in the morning, at which time, according to Osho explains, “the totality of nature becomes vital, the night is gone, the sun appears and everything becomes aware and alert”.

“This is a meditation in which you have to be continuously alert, aware, attentive, whatever you do, in the first phase, breathe, in the second phase, catharsis, in the third phase, the mantra ‘huu’.

Remain as a witness. Do not get lost. It’s easy to get lost. While you are breathing you can forget it; You can become one with your breath, to such an extent that you can forget the witness. But, in this way you do not get the point. Breathe as fast and as deeply as possible, put all your energy into it, but still and everything remains a witness.

Observe what is happening as if you were simply a spectator, as if all this were happening to someone else, as if all this were happening in the body, and the consciousness was simply focused and observing. This quality of being a witness has to be maintained in all three stages. And, when everything stops, and in the fourth phase you have been completely inactive, frozen, then this state of alert will have reached the peak. “Osho

Instructions:

The meditation lasts one hour and has five phases. Keep your eyes closed at all times, using a blindfold if necessary. You can do it alone, but it will be more powerful if done with others. It is an individual experience so you must forget those around you and keep your eyes closed all the time, preferably using a blindfold.

First phase: 10 minutes

Breathe chaotically through the nose, always emphasizing the exhalation. The body will take care of the inhalation. The breathing must be deep, reaching the lungs. Breathe as fast as you can and make sure that the breathing continues to be deep. Do the above with the speed and strength that you can allow, and then a little stronger, until you literally become the very breath. Use the body’s natural movements to generate your energy. Feel how it is generated but do not let it manifest during the first phase.

Second phase: 10 minutes

Explode! Express everything you need to take out. Go completely crazy Scream, scream, cry, jump, shake, dance, sing, laugh, throw yourself to the ground. Do not hold anything back. Keep your whole body moving. A little acting will sometimes help you get started. Never allow your mind to interfere with what is happening. Be total, use all your heart. Remember that when you consciously go crazy, you keep watching, as a witness.

Third phase: 10 minutes

Keep your arms up all the time. Jump up and down screaming: “Ju !, Ju !, Ju !,” as deeply as you can. Each time you fall, do it on flat feet so that the sound has a profound effect on the center of the sex. Take out everything you have, be completely exhausted.

Fourth phase: 15 minutes

High! Stay still in the position you are. Do not accommodate the body to any position. The slightest movement, cough, whatever, will dissipate the flow of energy and

All the efforts you have made so far will be lost. Remain a witness to everything that is happening to you.

Fifth phase: 15 minutes

Celebrate, through the dance expressing your gratitude towards the whole. Take this experience with you throughout the day.

If you can not make noise in the place where you meditate, you can have this silent alternative: Instead of emitting sounds, it allows the catharsis of the second phase to take place completely through body movements. In the third phase, the sound “Ju” can reverberate internally in silence, and the fifth phase can be converted into a dance of expression.
