Arromaterials in the treatment of various diseases

Aromatherapy – is the use of scents and aromas for recovery and treatment. It is believed that the use of aromatherapy gives excellent results in the treatment of people of all ages who suffer from serious diseases and ailments to normal. Aromatherapy can bring relief to people suffering from prolonged or relapsing disease that do not respond to traditional methods of treatment. Sometimes drugs cause unpleasant side effects, in such cases aromatherapy can also help restore health. Some oils have proven to be effective antiseptics, while others, such as lavender, tea tree and geranium, good effect against infections caused by viruses, bacteria or fungi.


Aromatherapy can bring quick relief to a person exposed to stress, depression or anger, and heal insomnia and headaches.

The main methods of aromatherapy


  • aromatherapy massage perfectly affects the central nervous system, the circulatory system and respiratory system.

Treatment of some diseases aromatherapy

Colds : inhalations and massages with essential oils of fir, sage, eucalyptus, bergamot, clove, ginger, lavender, peppermint, tea tree, chamomile.

Cardiovascular disease : some essential oils such as hyssop, can have a tonic or regulatory effect on blood circulation. “Hot” essential oils, stimulate circulation, is heated, increase of body temperature (benzoin, camphor, cinnamon bark, juniper, sage, thyme). “Cooling” oils help to reduce arterial blood pressure (lavender, rose geranium). Like melissa and neroli essential oil, ylang ylang has a calming effect on the heart trims palpitations, removes cardiac spasm.

Nervous system disorders : in depression makes inhalation and oil burner with essential oils of bergamot, geranium, lavender, mimosa, verbena, ylang-ylang, hyssop, cedar and thyme; in neurasthenia – fir oil, geranium, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, sage, lemon; when depressed – essential oils of basil, pine, lavender, mimosa, muskatnika, orange, oregano, vanilla and lemon, tarragon, sage and lemon thyme.


Fragrances for meditation


For meditation and relaxation ideal scents of sandalwood, vanilla, frankincense and valerian.
It is appropriate to use as scents of ylang-ylang, patchouli. If you experience a lack of vitality, that you want to fill in, experiment with flavors, adding a little vanilla lemon or lime. For morning meditation is good to use oil with orange aroma.
