8 Yoga poses that can protect your hair

Hair is the pride of a woman. It’s something that they boast of! But when the thickness of your ponytail begins to diminish it is time to pay serious attention. And ‘the broken and stressful heart to comb your hair and find a lot of hair stuck to the comb. This is where yoga can be useful! Yoga helps enormously to regenerate lost hair. The adoption of yoga asanas to prevent hair loss is one of the most effective solutions in the long term.

Asana Yoga for hair loss

As for the yoga positions to control going hair loss, some are particularly effective! They are listed below.

Balayam Yoga (RUB nails):

This yoga asana became famous for Baba Ramdev. It is very simple and very emotional.

  • You can do this asana is sitting or standing.
  • Curl the fingers of both hands inward toward the palm.
  • Bring the nails of both hands in contact with each other and begin to rub vigorously ensuring leaving out the miniatures.
  • Keep the nails rubbing continuously for 5-7 minutes at a stretch.

In addition to hair loss, Balayam yoga can also cure dandruff and premature graying of hair.
In this way, the roots of the hair follicles connected to the nails pump energy for the scalp needed for hair growth.

Uttanasana (Stand bending forward pose):

  • Stand straight with your legs close to each other touching the knees, heels, feet and toes.
  • Inhale deeply.
  • Now, as you exhale, raise your hands and lean forward until the fingers and then your hands touch the ground.
  • If possible, you can also bring your hands behind your heels.
  • Hold this position with a little normal breathing.
  • When you want to get out of this position, inhale deeply and stand straight back.
  • For beginners, he is not able to touch the ground with his hands, then fold his hands and keep his right elbow with his left hand and his left elbow with his right hand.

This asana helps with better hair growth due to two reasons:

  • If they have been fixed, the head is hanging below allowing the heart to allow blood to circulate properly in your scalp leading to proper hair growth.
  • Another reason is that the emphasis on Uttanasana is reduced and it rises from every anxiety and tension, which is the main reason for hair loss.

Sasangasana (Rabbit siting):

  • Sit with your knees on the floor, your hips on your heels to pose Balasana (the child’s attitude).
  • Now put your hands on your back and keep your heels.
  • Place the top of the head on the floor and slowly inhale and lift the hips.
  • Hold this position for a maximum of five breaths.
  • Exhale as you slowly roll back to the child’s attitude.
  • Relax and repeat.

This asana is still beneficial because while the crown is on the ground, blood flows to the head. The correct blood circulation in the scalp means good and healthy hair growth.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose):

  • Sit upright on the floor with your knees so that the calves of your knees form a right angle.
  • Keep your hands on the waist, fingers in front of and behind the thumb.
  • Now bend the spine backwards and hold the heels of the feet with your hands or you can even touch the soles of your feet.
  • When you bend your spine, also move your mouth up and try to look at the ceiling.
  • Hold this position for a few seconds and maintain normal breathing.
  • Exhale while leaving this position.
  • Sit in the child or Balasana pose and relax.

Follow certain precautions when doing this yoga for good hair:

  • To begin with, do not lean back too much, as it can cause lower back injuries.
  • You need flexibility for this asana, if your body is rigid, you will never be able to complete this asana until the end.

Adho Mukha Svanasana (dog at the bottom pose):

  • Stand with knees and hands on the ground. His hands perpendicular to his shoulders and knees with perpendicular sides.
  • Next push the hips and straighten the legs to one side also, standing on tiptoe.
  • By pressing the palms on the floor, straighten the spine more.
  • To get out of this position, pull the sides down and return gently to the first stage.

Vajrasana (Diamond pose):

  • Sit on the floor and keep your spine straight with your legs extended. The heels must be together.
  • Put your hands on your sides with your palms facing the ground.
  • Now you have to bend both legs, keeping them under the thighs; before the left leg and then the right.
  • Get your hands on your thighs.
  • Sit in a relaxed position and inhale and exhale deeply.
  • When finished, return to the original position of sitting with your legs extended.

Matsyasana (Fish pose):

  • Lie straight on the floor with your legs together, both hands should go on the back of the thighs with the palms facing down.
  • Now, with the pressure on the elbows, pull the top of the mid torso down the head a little “further back so that the top of the head touches the ground.
  • Its body position is such that an arc forms between the side walls and the crown. Breathe deeply and try to fill more oxygen can your respiratory organs.

Uttanpadasana (raised feet pose):

  • Lie on the yoga mat with your arms at your sides and your palms towards the floor.
  • Stretch the body and slowly lift the legs at an angle of 45 to 60 degrees from the ground.
  • Keep your legs elevated for a minute or more if you can maintain it.

This asana allows the circulation of blood to the follicles of the scalp and hair in a way that allows it to grow again.

Some other postures that help the growth of long and beautiful hair are Sarvangasana (shoulder stand pose) and Sirshasana (Headstand pose). Beginners may have some difficulty in making these two postures. But, as your body becomes flexible with yoga, you find the difficulty disappearing little by little. In addition to these yoga asanas, also practice Anuloma Viloma (alternate nasal breathing) and kapalbhati. Help you become what you mean less hair loss without stress.
