How to learn how to perform asanas correctly

1. Find an instructor

2. Focus on sensations

If we assume that for the correctness of the asana it is important that it looks exactly the same as in the picture, during the practice for detuning, you can use a mirror. However, many argue that the mirror, on the contrary, harms the practice, because it prevents focusing on the sensations of the body. And this is of decisive importance: the instructor says that you should feel in the asana, but your personal feelings you should track yourself.

When you understand the concept of the right movement, you can do without the instructor, but at the same time orientation to your feelings should be even more significant.

3. Research your condition after training

To understand whether a sport, a specific instructor or a way of training suits me, I always listen to my feelings after classes.

Note whether there is any tension or pain in the body, whether you feel relaxed, warmed up and content. Mark your general state: the decline of forces or, conversely, the inflow of energy?

I believe that if the classes are useful, after the training should be good. If you feel the body is light and fit, feel a surge of strength and vivacity, then the occupation was not in vain.
