Yoga exercises for beginners. How could it be a yoga class?
Both yoga postures and breathing techniques and meditation are perfectly designed, among other things, to relieve tension in the body. Regular practice of yoga helps contract or stretch the muscles of the body, releasing tension and leading to a deep sense of relaxation. Here I put in my experience, which could be a kind of yoga for beginners typical, along with some of the health benefits of each yoga posture . Ideally , if you are new to yoga, learn the positions of a yoga teacher with experience. However I leave here these yoga exercises for beginners to get an idea of what can be your first classes.
If you can not attend a class, nothing happens, you can also start by yourself at home. If this is your case, I invite you to see this video where I tell you my experience with yoga practice at home, and what was my main support.
The initial relaxation
At the beginning of each class an initial relaxation, where you lie on the floor in the posture Savasana or Corpse is made. In this position you will come to feel complete relaxation of the muscles and nervous system. Some of the benefits of this yoga posture are increasing energy and improving problems with insomnia. It also reduces headache, fatigue and insomnia and helps reduce blood pressure.
The positions I commented below are not put in order. My goal is to give you an idea of the exercises and positions that can be done in a yoga class for beginners .
4-6 Greetings to slow sun
The Sun Salutation is a classic sequence of twelve yoga positions. This energizing warm -up routine is performed at the beginning of many kinds of yoga . Hundreds of muscles are stretched and tone in this yoga sequence .
Relaxation
Between each exercise yoga for beginners , you can rest in the position of Savasana or in Balasana – Child.
Leg lifts
There is a yoga posture itself, but it is useful to stretch the muscles of the feet and warm them up for later years.
Salamba Sarvangasana or sailing
Sailing is an inverted pose that increases the blood supply to the brain. This yoga pose exerts a gentle pressure on the neck region, which helps regulate the functions of the thyroid gland (which regulates metabolism).
Matsyasana or Fish Pose
During this asana yoga you should breathe deeply, increasing the vital capacity of the lungs and helping to improve respiratory problems. This yoga pose energizes the thyroid gland and removes stiffness in the spine.
Forward lean or Paschimottanasana
This yoga pose , also known as the caliper, extends across the back of the body, increasing the flexibility of the lumbar spine and improving the alignment of posture. It also offers a good massage to the abdominal organs, helping relieve constipation.
Trikonasana or triangle
The triangle implies a movement of lateral bending, extending and contracting so relaxing the muscles of the back key. This makes your spine more flexible.
Final relaxation
The most rewarding part of the beginners yoga class! You can make a relaxation as the beginning of class. You can experience three levels: physical relaxation, mental relaxation and spiritual relaxation.
I recommend that you try not to sleep during this relaxation. Concentrate on breathing, or meditate, or review every muscle in your body and relaxing it looks.
In addition to yoga postures in a class you can make breathing techniques (pranayama) and also have the opportunity to get started in meditation.
